Toolbar apps confuse the hell out of the rendering engine
if a toolbar app (for example, pqw) is running, and you open or close normal applications, the display is not updated. If you close the toolbar (or open another), the display wakes up. Additionally, trying to reproduce this with the lucid theme results in display garbage, as a "ghost" of the toolbar app will remain behind (see screenshot).
